Museo Civico, Comune di Siena
The Museo Civico di Siena is arguably one of the city's most significant attractions, a must-see where the beauty of the Palazzo Pubblico is enhanced by frescoes that make its halls unique in the world, such as Ambrogio Lorenzetti's famous fresco cycle of the Allegory of Good and Bad Government.
UX and information architecture
After studying potential visitor flows and holding a joint workshop with the Museo Civico team, we designed a smooth user experience with multiple levels of depth for different users, from those looking for visit information to those seeking in-depth material.
Wireframing
We designed low-fidelity wireframes for every page template, starting from modular elements that are easy to replicate yet adaptable to the content. Working in low fidelity allowed for easy iteration and an always-open dialogue with the Museum team.
