Oriente Occidente website

Oriente Occidente is an association that builds bridges between cultures through the universal language of dance, which knows no borders. The Oriente Occidente website was created to showcase the festival, events and activities of the association, keeping the sculptural quality of its photos and their rich colors center stage.

A website to tell the story of the Festival and take part

Oriente Occidente needed a website that would convey the importance of the language of dance and present the variety and uniqueness of its events to its audience. It also needed a booking service that was fast and easy for everyone to use.

A phased method for a flawless result

After the Kickoff phase, which helped us clarify the Association's needs, we defined the site's information architecture and the navigation flow for users looking for information about the Association or the Festival and going on to book a ticket.

Pages that are both functional and engaging

In defining the page structure, we built components and blocks that adapt easily to any device. We played with the blocks to draw users into discovering the training programs, the workshops and the experts who will lead the events.

A smooth workflow thanks to DatoCMS

Choosing DatoCMS for content management let us make most pages modular, so the Oriente Occidente team could organize content entry independently, without relying on a developer.

Capturing movement and musicality

Oriente Occidente also entrusted Cantiere Creativo with its branding. The color palette and font already make you want to dance with them, echoing the movement of the Festival.

Designing for movement and for accessibility

The color and font choices follow accessibility best practices, just as Oriente Occidente's world of dance aims to welcome everyone into its joyful movement.

The tech stack for fast booking

The right technologies produced a site that is fast on any device. The few-click booking system let the audience get their Festival tickets with minimal effort.
