Unicoop Firenze
Unicoop Firenze is a cooperative in the large-scale retail sector (GDO), operating in the food industry across Tuscany, with a widespread network of stores, supermarkets and shopping centers.
For the shopping centers in particular, headquarters needed to coordinate and align communication, which over the years had fragmented across multiple sites, each managed independently by its own center.
A new project
The new project called for a coordinated, shared format across the shopping centers, to keep visitors informed about each center's stores, activities and promotions.
The CMS platform gives full control over all site content, keeping it up to date while maintaining visual and editorial consistency with the shared guidelines.
The interface design was created by studio Kmzero, alongside a redesign of the shopping centers' visual identity, always following a Mobile First approach for flawless mobile optimization.
For the backend we chose DatoCMS, which delivers the robustness, scalability and performance this kind of business needs: especially on weekends or during special events, when requests multiply far beyond the daily average, performance fully meets user expectations.
