With Acacia we experienced the full power and versatility of DatoCMS. The site is built on intricate relationships between apartments, services, posts, tips, reviews and neighborhood guides. A static site was the best fit for the speed and security the client required, but managing that volume of information by hand would have been impossible. The result exceeded all expectations.

A static site, impossible to manage by hand
The site is structured around 28 models and their related tables. Managing the static site by hand would have been impossible, yet a dedicated Rails application was in no way necessary. Today the site has nearly 1,200 database records and almost 700 MB of images, all handled by the ImgiX service integrated for free in DatoCMS. With Netlify, deploys are near-instant, browsing is lightning fast, with maximum security and scalability. And with no servers, hosting and maintenance costs are close to zero.
