BV Impianti

A website for a multinational company that must handle thousands of daily visits while managing and delivering technical content. The outstanding quality of the product had to be matched by an equally high-quality website. We developed the site with Ruby on Rails, Sass and CoffeeScript, in partnership with the Florence-based agency LCD, which created the visual design.

The challenge

Marco, CEO of BV Impianti, had always run his business with software that worked but fell short of his needs. He contacted Cantiere Creativo to start working better and faster.

Development

The management software was built on our tech stack: Ruby on Rails, Imgix, Amazon AWS, Heroku and our favorite tools, Admino and BEMO.

Final result

The platform was built using TDD. It is a web application with a responsive interface optimized for desktop and tablet. It enables job scheduling with an interactive calendar, interactive signatures for approving work orders, and numerous reporting features for reviewing completed work.

Unicoop Firenze is a cooperative in the large-scale retail sector (GDO), operating in the food industry across Tuscany, with a widespread network of stores, supermarkets and shopping centers.

For the shopping centers in particular, headquarters needed to coordinate and align communication, which over the years had fragmented across multiple sites, each managed independently by its own center.

Coedu

The project we built for Conkarma is a meeting point between associations in the Upper Valdarno and users looking for locally promoted services and events. The interface was designed mobile-first for flawless optimization on mobile. Technically, this project is the jewel in the crown of our DatoCMS-based solutions: thanks to the authentication features offered by Netlify, we have a static yet dynamic platform with user sign-up.
