The client knew exactly what they wanted from the start: an editorial website that would be a showcase for the venues in the Convention Bureau Italia network and keep customers informed about all the latest news and upcoming events.

After a careful research phase to identify every type of partner and their needs, we created a broad, flexible component library.
These components let Convention Bureau Italia's editors upload many different categories of venues to the site on their own, each with a profile fully customized to its needs.

From the homepage, Convention Bureau partners can easily browse projects and the latest news. As well as getting to know the network better, they can submit an application to request a quote or get more information.

The color palette and font choices followed the brand guidelines. We presented a couple of style tile proposals to give the client the widest possible choice before moving on to the high-fidelity wireframes.

Color contrast and typefaces follow industry best practices for accessibility. The site is fully keyboard-navigable, ensuring a smooth browsing experience for people with disabilities too.

Managing content with DatoCMS made most pages customizable and modular, greatly simplifying the editorial team's work. We chose technologies that deliver a dynamic, fast browsing experience.

With the new website, Convention Bureau Italia showcases Italian convention destinations, highlights completed projects and manages the countless applications it receives more easily.
