Fair Sud

Doing business today generally means making money, often at the expense of the environment or other people. Fortunately, that's not true for everyone who starts a business.

Your experience in Sicily

Fairsud is a non-profit association. On the homepage, founder Federico Spazzoli introduces the project and speaks to visitors through a video, invites them to learn more by downloading the Manifesto, and offers an immediate way to get involved by joining the mailing list and getting in touch with the organization.

Institutional website

The funding options offered to users are organized into themed tourist itineraries and offers, plus a shop area to buy typical Sicilian products such as coppola caps, chocolate and amaro.

The offers

Every offer has a consistent breakdown of the activities, the contacts and, above all, a transparent explanation of how the cost of each activity is split among the parties involved, and how this directly supports the association's work.

The static site has a fully working, responsive cart and checkout.

It has all the advantages of a static site (managed and generated with DatoCMS: robustness, scalability, no maintenance and no servers) combined with the power of Shopify, which handles all the dynamic, complex parts of an e-commerce store: cart, variants, quantities, personal data, shipping, payments. An outstanding mix for testing and validating a sales project without the complexity of building an e-commerce site, while drastically cutting costs.
