OperaBook: UX project for an Instagram contest

A book of beautiful images

We ran an Instagram contest for the Grande Museo del Duomo in Florence. In just a few days we received thousands of photos, even from professional photobloggers. We gathered the best in a stunning limited-edition photobook.

Opera Santa Maria del Fiore

It was a big challenge: creating a modern design with cutting-edge technology while maintaining a style worthy of an institution that has existed for more than seven centuries. We built the site with Ruby on Rails, Sass and Coffescript. Administrators can manage content directly on the front-end pages, a feature that helped them solve editorial issues. We ensured performance capable of handling millions of visits every year from every type of device.

Ippodromo Snai San Siro

For the Ippodromo Snai di San Siro, we designed the new public brochure, conceiving and illustrating a handy on-site map for visitors.

Built in 1920, the Ippodromo Snai di San Siro has been one of the world's most prestigious horse racing venues for over a century. It covers an area of about 1,600,000 sq m and hosts more than 70 race days every year, for over 500 races in total. The calendar includes ten Grand Prix events plus Group races.
