Opera Santa Maria del Fiore
It was a big challenge: creating a modern design with cutting-edge technology while maintaining a style worthy of an institution that has existed for more than seven centuries. We built the site with Ruby on Rails, Sass and Coffescript. Administrators can manage content directly on the front-end pages, a feature that helped them solve editorial issues. We ensured performance capable of handling millions of visits every year from every type of device.

The Opera di Santa Maria del Fiore was founded by the Florentine Republic in 1296, with the involvement of the city's church authorities, to oversee the construction of the new cathedral and its bell tower. We're talking about one of the most important museums in the world.
