School project: 4 free weeks of full immersion to learn React front-end development in Florence
After years of web pages built on 3-column templates, the technology has finally matured enough to go back to designing and building front-ends creatively and to a high standard of quality!
In recent years, the arrival of technologies like React and the growth of the JAMstack ecosystem have sparked a real revolution in the industry, which today offers new opportunities for anyone passionate about front-end development.
We chose to support the "School" project promoted by Develer and Nana Bianca, a free course that will take place in Florence starting March 25, 2019. Four weeks of full immersion with founders and tech geeks to learn everything about React, JS, HTML and CSS.
Only 15 candidates will get access to the free course and to job opportunities offered by some of the most important agencies around, including Cantiere Creativo.
For years we dreamed of creating an Academy to train developers in what we consider "modern" technologies for web and mobile applications. The truth is, we never managed it! Over the last decade we've seen several come and go, because creating an Academy is no joke: it takes time and resources, and you also need the "right students" for the kind of training you want to offer.
That doesn't mean giving up hope, quite the opposite! Demand for developers is growing, and it can only keep increasing in the coming years, unemployment notwithstanding. This field is an opportunity that is still not fully seized. Today we're doubling down with the School project!
